maybe they accepted you because they know you from this board and like your site, linksites can skip their own rules, yes there was alot of talking about "no free sites on subdomains", the lists i review wont list them either but its not on the rules page because its a known rule , newbies can find those things out by exploring and reading the boards instead of building free sites right away, so much to learn.... , hang around, read, ask, learn and you will get there
