These things are always happening, the primary constant in the SE game is the ups and downs.
Ideally you design so that when one kind of page/site is down, another type goes up. What that means tho is that you always have a large number of pages that are poor performers.
Not that I'm especially pleased with this update so far, but you get used to this kind of thing.
