Microsoft does not make the worms and viruses. The reason the Microsoft programs are targeted is because they are the ones used by 95% of all people on the internet. Afterall.. a virus that can only spread to 100 computers is no fun.
If everybody used Linux... we would have linux viruses instead.
I have to agree with Jim. If it wasn't for Microsoft we wouldn't be making a dime on porn or even having this discussion
Sure the internet was first something the universities had. But whats the use of a net that combines computers that only the "geeks" have access to and that requires a degree in computer science to log on to? Microsoft made it available to every Tom, Dick and Harry and thereby MADE the need for it. Its all about marketing
