I totally agree to the advantages of CSS, but calling most webmasters Lazy is not always the correct answer.
I dont think there is any defending needed.
When I started I never heard that CSS was better and why, so of course I learned html. If you wanted a website, you had to build html pages, so thats what I did. Standard practice.
