I find it very difficult, if possible at all, to argue with your logic.
My strict tendencies towards the use of "Enter" may stem from a very brief stint in gallery submissions, where the rules and rhetoric are much more stringent. One of the reasons I stopped submitting galleries and began submitting free sites was due to the fact that link list rules seemed much more webmaster friendly.
So it really isn't my intention to create a more difficult working atmosphere for honest webmasters, but rather an attempt at clarification and sensing what others feel about the use of "Enter".
