I was wondering who has experience with the various packages of 2257 software?

Not the commercial grade stuff for sponsors and producers, the kind of thing that's meant for secondary publishers like most of us.

The way I see it, the ideal software would have some ability to scan a domain and find the jpgs and gifs there, then build a database listing all the images it found on a domain, then give you the ability to review and edit and annotate that database.

Is there anything that does that?

Is there anything that does something useful that an ordinary spreadsheet program wouldn't do just as well?
