Emmanuelle,
We have tried to address that issue whenever we can. Unfortunately, we did not have access to the affiliates who were promoting us when we were with SammySmack, and therefore could not notify them. I tried to do searches to find the ones that I could and I did notify all the affiliates that we took to their program to get them the heads up on the change before it occurred. I even went so far as to post on a number of boards as the change became eminent to explain that the traffic they were sending would be redirected to a different site. When we have come across affiliates that had issues, we have worked with them to help change anything that will make the transition easier. If you look at some of the other boards, you will see some of these threads floating around.
It is difficult to try and overcome these kind of issues, and many will try and blame the girl for "flaking out". In business relationships things often just don't work out, and our two primary concerns during these transitions was to protect the members from losing access and to insure that affiliates would continue to get credit for their traffic.
Thanks,
Mike
