Sorry but calling those girls on the basketball team what he did is wrong and uncalled for in my opinion. These are honor students and had just won the championship. They surely did not deserve to be called that. As you can see I did not call Imus a racist I called him an asshole because I feel he is! You mean to tell me by looking at those girls he could come to the conclusion that they are what he called them? What if your daughter was on that team? Race has nothing to do with it he insulted them pure and simple and did it on the air so millions heard it. If he wanted to call them that why didn't he do it off air? Why? Because he is an ASSHOLE.

He's a humorist. A funny DJ. A little dry for my taste, but that's what he is. In comparison to the other womens team he had on the screen, the Rutgers girls
were a bunch of nappy headed hoes. It was a quick, semi-humorous remark. But a few overly-sensitive people want to make it sound so much worse than what it was. And what is so grand about winning at basketball? What's the great accomplishment? Ew, gee, they can get a ball through a hoop!

Hell, it's womens college basketball - I'm still shocked that ANYONE was watching them play, let alone Imus.
I don't see the justification for dragging the man through the media gauntlet over a quick remark which was so obviously not intended to be what everyone is claiming it to be. The censorship in this country is out of hand and it's propelled by sound bite-addicted boob tube zombies.
