There's a lot of reasons people don't like template or "cookie cutter" sites. Personally, I think that having a larger variety of templates helps with sales, meaning that the surfer won't click the back button because the site looks familiar (as if they've already seen it)
Tommy suggested a long time ago that everyone make 30 different templates & use 1 each month & that's the philosophy that we've been preaching here for a very long time.
