You have several options...
One of which may be to exchange links with similiar sites. You can post in the links & traffic trades forum here on GG&Jim as well as other places.
Another option might be setting up a toplist script on your site and then maybe buy some traffic to pump to your trades.
Yet another area you could work on is your seo and try to get free traffic from the search engines.
One more option might be to start a blog on your domain there, which may help increase your se presence as well as your traffic.
