Personally I think pics larger than 80 kb would be acceptable as long as they don't go above 100kb a pic. With all those people having broadband internet these days pics can be a bit bigger than they were a couple of years ago.
But I've people submitting 500kb pics to my LL's. Obviously that's a little too big
