But I remember YEARS ago realizing that exmasters was one of the places that a slot of scumbag & cheating webmasters had their sites hosted - and I'm not just talking about people that break rules because they are hosted everywhere (but a lot were/are hosted at exmasters) I'm talking more about some of the domain names that you'd see when doing whois & dns lookups - rape, incest, CP, etc.
I also remember letting them know about some of them early on - and I know other Link List owners sent them emails & info about the domains in question as well. When I never saw a reply & the domains were still up & running, I pretty much threw my hands up in the air & blacklisted them.
Like I said - this was YEARS ago - but oddly enough, a lot of the webmasters we have problems with as far as questionable marketing & submitting are hosted at exmasters (as well as a few other un-liked hosting companies) so I've continued to believe that I made the right decision when I blacklisted them many years ago.
Now, if you ask me for examples, I have none
But like I said, this was a long time ago - I'd guess 2001 or so (maybe earlier)
