I have one guy I know of who auto subs and there's no problem with his submissions. Basically for me it boils down to: If you follow the rules, use the correct recip, and all is just the same as if you were to manual submit, I don't have a problem.
Not keen on listing .us domains though, so chameleon or not, I most likely wouldn't even look at the freesite(s).
