Then you are part of the problem. in 99 out of a 100 cases, faults like this are (as Bever Bob) said just a bug in the system. But if affiliates are too lazy to even contact the sponsor, or worse, decide to loud mouth complaints about the sponsor on boards without first contacting them, they don't know that there is a problem to fix.

Hard luck. Most sponsor's have board trackers, they look out for mention of their name. Not only will they now know who you are, but they will have you listed as an 'unpleasant little guy who bad mouths them at the drop of a hat'. If you had contacted them first, they would have you listed as 'the helpful guy who told us when there was a problem'.
And the really bad news is that lots of sponsors read this board. they now ALSO know who you are, and they will have made a note of you as being a 'pain in the ass'.

1. They will NEVER be able to get it right if people like you are too lazy to notify them when they have a problem.
2. They already know that their affiliates are watching them. They know that (most of us) are not stupid.
3. That may be what you 'want', but all you have achieved is to tell the webmastering community what sort of person YOU are.
