Ahh, you have a full time job and doing this part time. This is how I started as well so I understand time constraints.
What the others stated I agree with as well. I started doing LL manually and it becomes a pain after awhile. A script will speed up your process of adding/removing sites, categories, sponsors and partners. This is what you need with your schedule.
Mix in your hosted freesites with your own. A lot of lists do this to fill a category page. You can try
HFS Links to easily find them plus they also have filler sites too. Has not updated in awhile but still plenty to choose from.
