Don't remember when my first sale came, but once it came I was like YEAH, and then I didn't get another for a couple of weeks, but then they started to come in steady and have pretty much done ever since... as said, there are some real dry patches once in a while but it will pick back up if you keep at it.
Just keep submitting sites and it will come.
