If you have XP on that machine SG, just do a roll back. XP automatically creates restore points for you so you can go back to a time when the pc worked the way it was supposed to. |
Never said DNS has anything to do with ftp but if he can send out packets from the command line and his browsers can't display a page, then he should see if its possibly a stack issue. That can probably be resolved pretty easily if I remember correctly.
