My brother and his wife recently went through the cancer thing. She was diagnosed about 5 years ago, went through a few years of chemo, lost her hair, etc.... and she beat it.
They are both retired as of this past summer, they bought a lake house in BC and have moved out there. They recently bought an A class motorhome... no sign of the "C" returning.
Hopefully it never does, and hopefully things work out as well for you and your wife too Jim.
