Why is it that a woman can disassociate herself from a child (through abortion or adoption) but a man is never given this opportunity?
How many of you are anti-abortion or anti woman’s choice?
We all harp about a woman’s right to choice but we give little consideration to a man’s right to choice – in fact, he has none.
I’m a huge supporter of father’s rights and I’m sure as hell not a dead-beat-dad. In fact I hate dead-beat-dads, but the statement "If you make them you pay for them" is way too simplistic.
How many of us have been lied to about the method or level of birth control our partner in on? (this can go both ways)?
How often does a couple make a decision to have no children only to have that mutual decision overturned by the woman when she suddenly finds herself pregnant? Leaving the man with no right of appeal?
If the situation in this story is accurate, then the man in this story is being fucked over by the courts and the parent(s) of choice are being wrongly relieved of their duties as parents.
Again – you all demand the right for a woman to choose – how big a hypocrite are you really?
