well that is the ultimate solution to the problem, stu but i thought it might be best to try to negotiate a win/win rather than take my toys and go home. of course i dont expect them to change their rules to suit me, i like thier traffic and dont want to loose it.

is there something wrong with asking?

I mean i doubt i am the only one who is stuck in this catch 22 so if we can come to some kind of clarification then the problem is solved and everyone is happy. if your solution is to not submit to them or to capitulate then thats fantastic. i would rather see a better solution to everyone involved.

im not pissing and moaning here, im trying to see if there is a better way of doing it. if you have a problem with me trying to do that then fine, but im not going to just clam up and go into a win/lose situation becuase you tell me to.
