If you know that a link list has rejected your site, it's fine to swap the recip. Trust me, if I reject your link, I couldn't possibly care less what you do with it. But I'd caution you to be very careful about what you think you know and what you really know when checking your stats. What you may think is a hit from a reviewer looking at your site and quietly rejecting it could be a list's script botting their queue. Also, don't always expect to find your link listed in category X because that's where you submitted it. The reviewer may have moved it to another category. I do that all the time. Hell, I've found my own free sites on a page on a BIG link list that I'm almost positive was impossible to reach via the list's navigation. If it wasn't for seeing the URL in my stats, I would have guessed that it was rejected. (I never submitted there again.)

The date on the next link to be reviewed in the general queue at Perve is 2007-12-06 22:11:09. (Just over a month old) If I review it in a few minutes and find the recip missing, that'll be the last time that person ever submits to me. I'm not saying that it's right to let my queue fall that far behind. I'm saying that's how it is. That Greenie person having links reviewed and listed within 24 hours is setting a bad example. If you submit to smaller lists, you have to realize that we don't have 2 or 3 reviewers on the payroll.
