i look at mouseovers in a similar way as i do with sales people. when you walk into dillards and they ask you "can i help you?" you automatically reply "no" even if you do need their help.

its a conditioned response and no one wants to be sold something. when you have a url

etc, its analigus to saying to the surfer "can i help you?"

its even worse when the site you are selling is Hot Teen Sluts which is plastered all over the banners and ads but the url is

people do look at where the link is going and i think you are doing yourself a disservice if you dont use mouseovers (especially the correct "onfocus" mouseovers cleo has on that page she posted)
