Well, my TiVo/High Def TV problem is really pissing me off. I moved the cable DVR upstairs to the new plasma TV & try to get one of the HD channels. They don't come in

So I call them & they tell me that I have a DVR box & not a HD box, so I need a new box She also tell me that they will soon have DVR/HD combo boxes, which confused the shit out of me because they just launched these DVR & HD boxes about 4 weeks ago. So now they'll have people coming back in & switching out boxes for the combo ones over the coming weeks (it's no wonder Adelphia is under investigastion - LOL)

So The Bitch takes one of the regular boxes back to the cable company & picks up one of the HD boxes. The only problem is it works with those Video Component hook ups (the red, green & blue) so it doesn't work with TiVo

Anyone have HD with a satellite system that has TiVo as well? I might just throw this cable box out the window if I can get a dish that actually does what I want installed

I have directv although not HDTV, if its the same receiver for DirecTV then yes I have the DVD/Satellite receiver combo and its nice. Mine has two receivers built into one so I can record one program while watching another which is nice, but since I dont have HDTV I cannot comment if its the exact same box or not. You could always call DirecTV and ask them.
