Arles ROCKS! I use AceHTML for all my hand coding, and using their codes (arles) to embed thumbs, I create templates using AceHTML.

I use photoshop CS for any graphics, headers, banners, etc.

Then I put the pics in a folder, define the crop if I need to, then hit the all button, and the gallery is done.

Nice thing is I now have a lot of templates to choose from, and I usually build a new template every day or so to add to the portfolio.
