Silly, It's All About The Sponsor ...
I was just looking at a Hun gallery. As you may know, he had some sort of promotion where you could get a listing if you included MP4 movies in addition to the regular WMV or MPEGs.
Anyhow, I am looking at this gallery and I see a disclaimer that the sponsor in fact does NOT offer MP4s in the member area. So I am thinking does that really work? Now, I am not a newbie and neither I am making a whole lot of money doing this, but, I know enough to work back from the sponsor is offering. What I mean by that is if the sponsor comes up with a site and provides marketing materials that show it in a particular way then I mirror my efforts to reflect what they are selling.
How effective is it to sell a sponsor's site in using formats that are not supported? How many people would click on the Hun link thinking, "great another sponsor that finally offers MP4 porn", only to find that there is nothing there for them?
I just can't see this being a good strategy. Does this method work for you?
