I read that article and it all sounds very logical but it feels like it's wrong, somehow.
I think you can only have a free digital economy if everything is free - not just bandwidth, but food, electricity... people need to make money to survive. So there has to be money changing hands somewhere.
There's also the idea that your time isn't worth any money. That guy is only counting costs in terms of physical stuff, not labour.
But I'm not an economist... what do I know?
