That way I don't have to ftp everything up for him and give him links, lol.
Neither of us have ever used wordpress and I'm a bit overwhelmed. I use a really old script called pm machine, that no one's even heard of, for my blog. Someday, I'd like it to be wordpress and have tagging ability.
So would blog organizer help us build the blog on the domain, then easily pull and use posts from sponsor rss feeds, and can he edit the posts if he wants to write something different?
Sorry for all the questions.

Blog Automater is a fantastic solution for pulling in RSS feeds, allowing you to manipulate them and then publishing them but it really doesn't handle writing your own posts. In fact it has no blog functions on it's own, it will only publish to existing blogs
Blog Organizer is probably the tool your looking for. It will let you write posts as well as read in RSS Feeds and allow you to edit them. It's an advanced blogging script or can post to other scripts like WP.
I have never tried using the blogging portion or BO although it looks fairly complete.
I'm sold on WP. It's the type of thing if you can think of a function you'd really like to add to your blog you can usually do a little searching and find a plug-in that will add it.
I'm not sure but I think T Pat has used BO as a blogging platform he may be more useful on how that functions. I can tell you that BO combined with WP is pretty cool
