Actually they did win once more, in 1964, which was the second edition of the european championship, hosted in... U guessed it, spain
They beat the Russians 2-1 in the final then (but the soviet union was way better way then - they had won the first edition).
So now they've got 2 wins in 13 editions... sounds good to me... only them and France won it twice, and germany 3 times:
