I would say that posting and getting your name out there in a positive manner helps. That said, while I have PA's to some of these LL's, I never actually got an invite without asking for one. Just give it a try once you have 10 links to show them with good FS on them and see how it goes. Some will answer, others will not, that's life. I never got the PA I asked for from DangerDave, so I just moved on and forgot all about it. No biggie, I still enjoy his posts on the board.
