Exactly. There is more stuff possible, too, just think of such occurences:
Linklist builds up a new category which may fit many of your old submissions. The owner decides only to transfer old submission into the new category as they may have vanished in the original category thus not creating duplicate content.
Other example, I will rebuild some of my sites and import some free sites. therefor the owners suddenly may see traffic from linklist they did not submit to.
Other example: a linklist introduces a full-text search as he has too many submissions to display in the categories where he avoids pagination only showing the latest 100 submissions. Now, the old submissions show up in search for obscure searches.
Notice: the submitted sites are some asset for the link list owners and the sites will get recycled sometimes so the value of free sites does never vanish. (you remember the old saying of build one site each day and you will make a good living after 2 years)
Some tips for free site submitters: build your site around a very niche, make the title and description very good and this will be a site of value for future. Eg If a 24+ latina in fishnets gets fucked vaginal then anal dont write: "Hot latina gets fucked", better use a title like "Latin woman in fishnets gets fucked" and a description like "A latin female fucking first vaginal then anal" or something like this. I see a lot of descriptions and stuff like "Extremly hot babe sucks cock" does not blow it. Describe the performer, describe the action.
