There is something dead and partially eaten on the floor of our empty den. I guess we don't need to give the cats treats this morning.
Coming back from the couch store yesterday I almost hit a shopping cart on the freeway yesterday at 70+ MPH that fell off the back of a pickup truck. I could see a bunch of other cars colliding with it in my rear view mirror.

Our den is empty because we put our old couch, lamps, and a bunch of other stuff curbside for today's bulk trash pickup. Probably should have also put the old rear projection TV out too but we still haven't decided if if we are putting it in our bedroom and tossing the old huge CRT TV in there or tossing the old rear projection TV. I see that much of what we put out for bulk trash has already has been taken by the trash scavengers that cruise our streets so I guess it doesn't matter if we put out a TV after this month's bulk trash has already been picked up.
New TV and couch is coming tomorrow. I need to call DirecTV today and get them out here to upgrade us to HD. I hate their non Tivo HD DVRs. Makes me want to switch back to Cable but I hate Comcast cable too, it's a real quagmire.
Doing the gym thing in a bit on this rainy morning and then just a day of getting back to work after taking this weekend off.
