Johnny Depp is one of my favorite actors but reviving the Riddler is a stupid idea (hopefully it's just a stupid rumor.) They need to move on a try out some newer villians and dump the used-to-death classic ones. The only way they can reinvent Riddler in my mind is make him some sort of hardcore psychopath (like the Heath Ledger Joker) and make a Se7en-type movie starring Batman. And even that is far fetched. The Ridder will just put Batman back in ridiculous, over the top territory.
