Depending on the feed, I've created pages on my blog rather than posts out of the feeds and I've added them to the sidebar of my blog. The sidebar is especially effective for those feeds that have a questionable amount of text. I've created sales pages using them.
Once you play around with
RSS2HTML and give it a little thought you can come up with plenty of potential uses. Or at least a few more other than creating splogs.
