In the years before my 'official' coke days, a friend's dad was a neurosurgeon with a lab at home where he had a beautiful and incredibly precise scale which operated in a vacuum inside a glass dome. But once his dad caught him using it (and punished him in a way not unlike that below) we had to find another way to be sure what things weighed.
