I was given mine by pro photographers who have used them for years in the UK

Basically a model release is for the model to sign allowing what ever rights you may need to publish her pics anywhere.. Whether as is, modified or in fact anything you want to do with them. Though legally.. If you have paid a model for a shoot you then own the copyright to the images whether she signs a release or doesn't and can still do what you want... Some models have their own release forms which have stipulations regarding where their images may be published and can ask a photographer to sign hers in reverse. I've worked with girls who didn't mind being on the net on a pay site but would have freaked if they appeared in a magazine, so their release bans this type of publication...

This subject has been discussed many times on sites such as www.net-model.com and other model/photographer listing sites. This is also accepted world wide.
