Just saw this thread and thought I'd post my two cents (dinare? shekels?). Just in case anyone happens to see it.

Now, now. It's all well and good to mock the devout, but let us not forget from whence our bread is buttered. If, I propose, sex were viewed as merely a joyful and natural exchange and release of energy, reminding us that we are alive and connected to other living beings (and, I've been told, not incedental to propagation of the species), rather than a shameful and sinful urge that must be repressed lest one suffer the wrath of a vengeful deity (albeit the deity who made the thing up in the first place), folks might actually go out and do it for real. As opposed to nervously skittering across the web, hoping to satisfy their carnal depravity. I say "Praise the Lord, Keep Sex Sinful, and CLICK HERE NOW FOR HOT GRANNY FUCKING ACTION!"
