Morning all. Indoor work planned today as they are calling for wind gusts up to 45mph today. Not a good day for shoveling dirt.
MadHatter and I finished putting down a 3 - 4" layer of sand in our garden beds yesterday. When I looked up the receipts for the sand, I realized we moved about 6 tons of sand by shovel and wheelbarrow loads in the last week or so. Great workout. So what do I do? Order about 5 tons of topsoil delivered yesterday to top it off. I figure we have until mid April to get it all set up, as we should be past frost dangers by then. I got enough dirt so we can build one more bed along the fence for all our vining plants. I'm going to have alots of veggies and herbs this year.
