Or you do something like a DNS lookup to see if the domain exists to begin with (none of them do), and if they do exist, is the page they are submitting even got your recip on it?
Both of these are trivial exercises to code in a linklist script and any script that doesn't even do this modicum of checking should be shot in the head.
