I've had to explain the profile settings to a couple of friends before. If GG's profile is set up as "friends only," then your friends can see his comments on
your status updates, photos, etc, but they can't view all of his info, status updates, etc., when they click on his profile name. They'd only see his current profile pic, a short list of his friends, and a friend request link - not much more. My profile used to be set as "friends of friends," but a friend complained that she didn't want her friends knowing that she was a friend of a sick fuck like me, because anyone seeing my comments to her could click my name see everything I had posted (photos, status updates, etc.) Mostly, she didn't like my current profile photo. Oh well. To be nice, I changed my status to "friends only" since some people do have children as friends. I don't have young friends on FB (because I'm not a pedo), so I don't think about them. I do, however, have a dog as a friend, and he's never complained about my profile photo or my use of foul language.
