bluefluff, maybe I can help you clear up some of the confusion, sometimes rules may seem stupid and unnecessary, but there are good reasons for some of them.:

1. No Pop-Ups or Javascript

Any Javascript at all, meaning no menus, nothing. The reason is that unsavory people can use scripting on a page to do all sorts of nasty things like SQL injections and shit like that. Better off making the rule no script period.
2. All Links Must Open In The Same Window
Does this mean no target="_blank"? I think it means you don't want clicks to open new tabs or browsers right.
Yes, do you like when you are wacking off to porn and you click a link and a new window opens up, maybe even crashing or freezing your computer? No. If that happens, bet you won't ever go back to that site right?
3. Index/Main pages. I think what confuses me most about this one is penisbot and wetplace. It seems like they want you to put "www.something.com" in the field. Yet, when I click on links to almost every LL, the first page is "www.something.com/something" and no link at any point leads to the main .com.
You should submit the INDEX page of your site. This means that if you have 1 site and want to submit to 80 LL's, then make about 10 copies of it with 8 recips on the index.html page of each one. Just change the name and directory of each site, like this:

When you submit the site to each LL, you can submit the subdirectory with the index.html page. i.e. http://bluefluff.com/bigtits/index.html for each one. The ease of it is you just have to change the name and recips, not the content and gallery pages.
LL owners want this for many reasons, SEO and other things.
Do LL webmasters expect every submission to come from different domains, or can they come from other parts of it, like "www.something.com/asian" and "www.something.com/black" etc...as long as the other rules are followed such as different design.
Some do and some don't, each one can be different. Some don't like it when you just keep submitting a new subdirectory 15 times for the same domain, some don't give a shit. The bigger the LL, the pickier they are, because they can be, that simple.
4. One more thing. Recip links. This one confuses me as well. Most LL seem to indicate they want you to use the recip links they have already made. Yet, I see some galleries in their listings that have made their own tables and simply have a text link.
Some will let you create a custom text link, or other stuff, but you should ask. Only have to ask once and then you are done. Read the submit page for more details. Also, beware that some Free sites you are seeing can either be : a. old sites b: the owners personal sites c: sponsor hosted free sites d: something else. They don't usually follow every rule they set in every corner of their site, some might but not always. Hope this helped you.
