Most agencies warn models, especially new models, beware of POV shoots because they just may be a guy trying to get laid.
The agencies here in South Florida I deal with wanted samples of work if they had not worked with me before. One even had me come and shoot a scene at their location just to see if I was "legit". An agency I deal with a lot now, I just made an appointment to meet with them and spent the weekend hanging out at his house and partying in Miami. Once they see you are trying to start a legitimate adult biz...they usually are very receptive to you. Now if you are creepy, sleazy or come off as an idiot it may not be an easy road. But once you're in and shooting regularly, they will call you when they have a new girl or at least my agency does.
