Reboot. Put a blog in your root directory. That makes adding content much easier. From there, you can make it "hand written" if you want to write the posts and get it listed in more places, or, you can put it on rss feed autopilot. I like the autopilot versions because I like building blogs more than writing posts, but I have two or three hand-written also.
Then build free sites and tgp galleries in subdirectories, and every time you submit a free site or gallery, put a link to your root blog on it. The thing about getting youre root page listed on a site like LOR is that you only have one root page. With the number of submits that link lists get, you will soon be at the bottom and getting little traffic. Thats why you build free sites and galleries in subdirectories because you can have fuckall millions of them. Submit one a day to your favorite link lists or TGPs. The traffic will flow. Depending on how you work your blog, you may get it listed with places like hoes, tommy, cleo etc and also get traffic like that.
All the stuff Hashbury said is god's own truth, I just wanted to add in that blogs are ideal for domain roots. You can put the AVS under the blog, just like free sites and galleries. Use the domain for everything you can.
