Yeah me too. I even had 2 computers crash a few months ago when those viruses were floating around and I went back and got Dell to send me my restore disks (Windows XP) and reloaded that fresh even though I could have gone with Vista or waited for 7.


I will probably wait until early next year to buy a new computer w/7 pre-loaded. I know almost all OS's take a few months to work out the kinks and I'd like the cleanest version possible before you start patching/upgrading.



As for Macs...they are cool. I guess I've gotten so used to the keyboard shortcuts, right click, and other functions of a PC that doesn't work on a Mac. I would like to buy a Mac just for some sound editing and YouTube projects I do...but they are expensive and the ROI just isn't there. Where as I can build a powerful PC for $500 and that would get me a Mac from the 80's....


I'm just grateful that there are two solid OS we can choose from...as this wasn't always the case.
