I use wordpress. One day my host shut my site down due to strain on their server. I'm on a shared virtual hosting account at hostgator.
Basically I think something attacked my site, like some sort of robo automatic thing that tried to post a thousand comments.
They suggested I install a plugin called wp-supercache. Haven't had a problem since.
