Not that this is any of my business, but you aren't going to find many people who want to deal with you in this day and age unless they can check up on you and have faith you are not a scammer, especially as you advance further and start offering things people have to pay for. There are too many shady things that go on on the web and you're the one asking for other people's business don't forget.
On top of that, social media networks have pretty much made any sense of privacy a thing of the past the second you move one step up from becoming a lurker. There's always a risk but and you should use safeguards but the risk is probably the same as using your credit card to pay your bills as long as you check out the sites you are dealing with from your end. People can really only get so much info from who is and it's the info you should want them to have if you are legit.
To cover your home address use a P.O Box or mailing service which you should be doing anyway for any type of business. I should have probably minded my own business but thought I'd help you out cause someone did me about this when I first started. I'm paying it forward
