Do You Require An Email Confirmation Once Submitters Create An Account Or Do You Just Require Submitters To Create An Account And Thats All?

Or None Of The Above.

I Currently Have Joespornlinks Set Up So Submitters Create An Account & Then Confirm Their Email Address But 3 Out Of The 5 People That Have Submitted So Far Have Said That They Never Received An Email Confirmation Link.
