A hub can be anything you want it to be. I have some that look like Link Lists, some that look like blogs, some that are just a page of links.
You can link back to your hub, you just have to make it look like the link belongs on the page/site. Meaning if it's a free site & your hub looks like a link list, put it in with the recips. Or you can always put a link on the bottom/footer of the page with the copyright & 2257 & whatever links - I do this using "Part Of The Whatever Network" text.
