Now now surfn, do I have to come and slap you Sites are listed in DMOZ on their merit and a webmaster would have to do something pretty bad to actually get banned from being listed.

As mentioned in the previous posts, getting listed in DMOZ does have a lot to do with the number of sites awaiting review in a particular category and whether that particular category has an active editor or not. But there are other factors which can affect the time it takes to get a site listed.
