I just got home from a nice 5 day vacation in Florida. I did plan on working while I was down there, but once I arrived, I said "fuck it" & actually enjoyed my time "offline" away from all this work crap
The 1st part of my trip was to an old friends in Orlando for his Fantasy Football draft that I flown in for the last 5 years. After the draft, there was a nice dinner, swimming & the UFC fights
Then on Sunday I drove a couple hours south to visit with Cleo & her lovely partner Christy. Two very nice people that put up with a fat guy from up North for 3 days
The best part of the trip was just shooting the shit with Cleo - it's so nice to have an actual conversation with someone where you don't have to explain every little aspect of your business. Cleo & Christy have a lovely home & I look forward to visiting them again next year (if they'll have me - lol)
So now I'm back home - still alone as The Bitch, Emerald & my girls are still in NYC for another day, so things will get back to 100% normal tomorrow night. For now, I'm just happy to be back on my machine, as I actually missed work & the board. It's easay to forget how many friends I have on here
