I emailed the reporter that just wrote a story about the sheriff in your story. I gave him links to the stories you posted here. This was his reply:
Hello,
I'm a reporter with the Macon Telegraph in Georgia and just read your posting on your experiences in Treutlen County. Quite interesting. I don't know if you've heard, but the sheriff has been convicted and lost his job. I would like to talk to you because I plan on writing a story on how inmates at the Treutlen Boot Camp are often sent off to prison for seemingly trivial rule violations. Even though you didnt' get sent off, it seems like you came really close.
If you don't want to give your name, I could just call you Cool Hand
Luke.

SINCE HE MISTOOK ME FOR THE PERSON INVOLVED, I JUST EMAILED HIM:
That wasn't me. It was a guy I met on a message board. And he DID get sent away. For 6 months.
There were two pages to that story. The "jail" experience was on the second page.
